As a Technical Product Owner, you will be responsible for ensuring that complex financial products are delivered efficiently, correctly, and aligned with institutional requirements.
You will work closely with:
● Banks, custodians, and financial platforms
● Internal engineering teams (frontend, backend, blockchain, AI)
● Product and business stakeholders
Your role is to translate institutional use cases into executable development plans, while ensuring delivery meets expectations around reliability, compliance, and scalability.
This is a product execution role with strong technical depth, requiring the ability to engage both senior financial stakeholders and engineers with equal credibility.
1 . Product Ownership for Financial Systems
● Own delivery of products related to:
○ Tokenization platforms
○ Digital asset infrastructure
○ Collateral, lending, and settlement workflows
● Translate institutional use cases into structured product requirements and roadmaps.
● Define clear user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria aligned with financial use cases.
2 . Institutional Stakeholder Management
● Act as the primary interface between us and:
○ Banks
○ Asset managers
○ Exchanges and tokenization platforms
● Lead requirement gathering sessions with institutional stakeholders.
● Align expectations on scope, timelines, and delivery milestones.
● Communicate risks, constraints, and trade-offs in a clear, structured manner.
3 . Technical Translation & Oversight
● Convert business and regulatory requirements into detailed technical specifications.
● Work closely with engineers to validate architecture decisions and implementation approaches.
● Ensure solutions meet requirements for:
○ Scalability
○ Security
○ Data integrity
○ Auditability
● Review system outputs (APIs, smart contracts, integrations) at a technical level.
4 . Delivery Planning & Execution
● Own backlog management, prioritization, and sprint planning.
● Ensure realistic scoping and efficient allocation of engineering resources.
● Monitor delivery progress and proactively remove blockers.
● Maintain delivery velocity across multiple concurrent projects.
5 . Quality, Compliance & Production Readiness
● Ensure features meet both functional and institutional-grade requirements.
● Coordinate QA, UAT, and release processes.
● Incorporate compliance considerations into product workflows:
○ KYC / AML
○ Audit trails
○ Data handling and permissions
● Ensure systems are production-ready for institutional use.
6 . Product Strategy & Market Alignment
● Contribute to product direction across:
○ Tokenization
○ Collateral infrastructure
○ Digital asset workflows
● Align product decisions with evolving market structure and regulatory trends.
● Identify opportunities to improve product-market fit within institutional finance.
Product & Delivery Experience
● Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Technical Project Manager in software development.
● Strong track record delivering complex, production-grade systems.
● Experience working with external clients or institutional stakeholders.
Technical Expertise
● 8+ years in software engineering or technical roles, with strong full-stack understanding.
● Hands-on experience with:
○ Frontend (React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular)
○ Backend (Node.js, Python, Go, or similar)
○ Databases (SQL & NoSQL)
○ Cloud infrastructure (AWS)
● Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems.
Digital Assets / Web3 Knowledge (Strong Preference)
● Experience with:
○ Smart contracts (Solidity, Rust preferred)
○ Token standards and on-chain design patterns
○ L1/L2 ecosystems, rollups, and blockchain infrastructure
● Understanding of custody, wallets, and on-chain/off-chain interactions.
Financial Systems Experience (Highly Preferred)
● Experience building or delivering products in:
○ Banking
○ Fintech
○ Digital assets / crypto platforms
● Familiarity with:
○ Payments, lending, trading, custody, or collateral workflows
● Understanding of regulated environments, including:
○ KYC / AML processes
○ Compliance-driven product constraints
● Experience working with institutional stakeholders is a strong advantage.
