Architect, implement, and maintain core smart contract systems for the on-chain CLOB perpetual exchange.
Design gas-efficient and security-hardened trading, matching, settlement, and liquidation primitives.
Lead internal audits and security reviews of production contracts.
Build upgradeable contract strategies and versioning systems for long-term protocol evolution.
Own the full lifecycle of smart contract releases, including test coverage, deployment, and monitoring.
Collaborate with backend engineers to align on end-to-end architecture including indexing and public REST API
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in smart contract engineering with deep Solidity/EVM expertise.
Prior ownership of complex, high-stakes on-chain systems in production.
Demonstrated ability to write performant, gas-optimized, and security-audited smart contracts.
Experience with formal verification, invariant testing, fuzzing, and security tooling.
Strong understanding of Ethereum internals, state model, storage optimizations, and memory layout.
Ability to drive architecture decisions and lead complex technical initiatives.
Familiarity with rollup architectures, sequencers, or custom execution environments.
Preferred Skills:
Strong understanding of CLOB mechanics, derivatives, perpetuals, or trading infrastructure.
Experience building on high-performance L2s or alternative VMs.
Background in quantitative finance, market microstructure, or derivatives risk systems.
Contributions to open-source smart contract libraries or DeFi protocols.
