We’re looking for seasoned Senior PMs who bring sharp attention to detail and a strong sense of balance among quality, execution, and delivery.

 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software QA Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality across our software products. You will play a pivotal role in defining, implementing, and maintaining robust testing strategies that ensure every release meets our performance, functionality, security, and user experience standards.


Job Responsibilities

· Design comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications

· Validate UI and UX with meticulous attention to visual and interactive details, ensuring pixel-perfect execution across devices and browsers

· Rigorously test APIs and user stories across positive, negative, and edge case scenarios using a systematic, detail-oriented approach

· Conduct exploratory testing to uncover critical bugs and non-obvious edge cases

· Analyze test results, document defects, and manage their resolution through to closure

· Own the QA process end-to-end—from planning through deployment—while championing best practices and continuous improvement

· Participate in code reviews and contribute to CI/CD workflows and automated testing pipelines

· Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, developers, designers, and stakeholders to integrate quality throughout the SDLC

· Review and suggest improvements to frontend UX/UI to optimize usability, accessibility, and user engagement


Required Skills & Qualifications:

· 6+ years of experience in software QA, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity

· Hands-on expertise with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent

· Strong hands-on ability to validate frontend UI against Figma specs and design guidelines with a high degree of visual accuracy and attention to interactive detail

· Thorough understanding of the intricacies of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), with a proven history of success in hybrid Agile-Waterfall environments

· Comprehensive expertise in QA methodologies and tools, with sound judgment in selecting and defending the right testing strategy for each product

· Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to anticipate edge cases and identify technical dependencies


 Other Requirements

· Fluency in English (written and spoken) for effective collaboration with developers, designers, management, and stakeholders

· Solid understanding of major modern software frameworks and architectural patterns

· Hands-on experience with Jira, Bitbucket, and Git version control; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

· Comfortable working with distributed and remote engineering teams

· Must have flown as a passenger on a commercial aircraft at least 3 times within the past five years


Preferred Skills:

· Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python)

· Hands-on expertise with unit and integration testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine for backend applications

· Advanced hands-on expertise in automated testing frameworks and performance testing tools

· Background in security and compliance testing (e.g., PCI-DSS)

· Experience using the AWS Console, especially services like CloudWatch, Systems Manager, S3, EC2, IAM Identity Center, Secrets Manager, and AWS Backup
