Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

The Role

We are seeking an exceptional Senior QA Engineer with sharp attention to detail, strong technical capability, and a high level of ownership.

In this role, you will drive and maintain robust manual and automated QA strategies across our app, web, and backend systems. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and architecture leadership to ensure every release meets the highest standards for functionality, UX, performance, and stability.

Your mission: Deliver defect-free, premium-quality, and production-ready software.

Responsibilities

• Execute rigorous manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and backend systems
• Test APIs and user flows across positive, negative, and edge-case scenarios
• Perform detailed visual, interactive, and UX/UI QA against Figma designs
• Validate pixel-perfect implementation across devices, screen sizes, and browsers
• Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing strategies
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects and interaction dependencies
• Document issues clearly, track defects, and drive resolution through to closure
• Write and maintain automated API and frontend testing scripts
• Collaborate closely with developers, PMs, and architects to maintain quality throughout the SDLC
• Help establish and enforce QA best practices, processes, and quality standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of software QA experience, including 2+ years in a senior-level role
• Strong experience with API testing and automation using Postman, Newman, and/or Playwright API testing on backend systems built with NestJS, Postgres, and Redis
• Strong experience with automated frontend testing for Next.js applications using Playwright
• Strong experience with Flutter mobile app functional, UI/UX, and end-to-end testing using Patrol, Appium, or similar automation frameworks
• Ability to read logs, query and operate Postgres databases, and diagnose issues efficiently
• Expertise in at least one scripting or programming language used for QA (e.g. JavaScript, Python)
• Proven ability to validate UI/UX precisely against Figma and design specifications
• Strong ability to anticipate and test edge cases
• Disciplined and persistent approach to manual testing
• Exceptional frontend QA attention to detail and understanding of interaction dependencies
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing strategies, and defect lifecycle management
• Prior QA experience working on business-critical or mission-critical systems
