✓ Involved in supporting infrastructure architecture, resource planning, system performance and overall infrastructure operating environment for either on-premises infrastructure or cloud computing platforms, or both.
✓ Demonstrate deep (and/or) broad level of technical expertise in area of Infrastructure Services, with appreciation in one or more areas of Infrastructure Management, Cloud Computing and DevOps Engineering concepts.
✓ Ability to administrate and management of servers and its software such as installation, backup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
✓ Ability to monitor and tune system performance to improve resource usage, avoid hardware failure and process bottlenecks.
✓ Analyze system/event logs, identify and correct potential issues with the systems.
✓ Facilitate and support development and implementation of new system initiatives, integration and performance improvements to the structure and efficiency of company’s IT network.
✓ Assist solution architects in carrying out product evaluation, prioritizing solution options and describing strengths/weaknesses of different alternatives.
✓ Strong PowerShell scripting experience
✓ Ability to perform above in the AWS cloud and on-premises environment.
✓ Good understanding of AWS Landing Zones, networking services and utilizing AWS tools for troubleshoot
✓ Strong in two or more of the following areas:
• Managing GPO, DNS and DHCP.
• Managing CyberArk for premises and privilege cloud.
• Managing Microsoft certificate authority (CA)
• AWS cloud architecture and system/network administration.
✓ Participate in the design and implementation of cloud architectures and controls in alignment with enterprise security and compliance guidelines.
✓ Assist in the testing and evaluation of new cloud-native services, tools, and deployment models to ensure scalability, resilience, and security.
✓ Recommend cloud products, services, and deployment procedures to enhance overall system architecture design.
✓ Document the design, operation, use, and expected outputs of AWS and Azure cloud
environments.
✓ Implement new enterprise cloud solutions, services, and enhancements across Day 1
(deployment) and Day 2 (operations) activities.
✓ Resolve issues that arise during cloud deployments, migrations, and integrations.
✓ Identify opportunities to scale up and automate infrastructure and processes through
Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions.
✓ Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, and security gaps, and propose continuous improvements.
✓ Oversee the maintenance of cloud platforms, services, and associated automation tools.
✓ Develop and implement disaster recovery drills and simulation tests for critical workloads hosted on AWS and Azure.
✓ Provide leadership in the resolution of incidents, performance bottlenecks, and cloud operational challenges.
✓ Degree/ Diploma in IT/ Computer Science/ Network/ Computing/ Computing Engineering
✓ Minimum 5 years of experience in Systems administration and validated records of having utilized architect design capabilities in infrastructure management for both on premise and Cloud workloads.
✓ Certification in a Cloud Technology platform (in Architecture, System Administration/ SysOps track) preferred.
✓ Experience in Linux administration, Nutanix/VMware virtualization, Azure or AWS cloud
environment will be an added advantage.
✓ Proactive and dedicated individuals with good leadership skills and multi-tasking capabilities
✓ Good interpersonal skills, oral and written skills, with the ability to present ideas and influence partners of different levels.
