Senior Backend Developer / Full Stack Developer

Job Description

The Senior Backend Engineer will be essential to the development and expansion of our hiring software programs. We are looking for a highly qualified individual who has a strong background in backend development and a love for creating scalable, reliable web applications. In order to guarantee that our backend architecture facilitates the quick rollout of new features, the chosen applicant will collaborate closely with our Web Developers, Product Development, and Product Design teams.

Upon joining the team, your responsibilities will include:

• Engineer scalable and maintainable backend systems using Node.js, Golang, and Python.
• Partner with front-end developers and cross-functional teammates to define goals and build seamless, user-friendly interfaces.
• Design, build, and fine-tune APIs to ensure fast, reliable, and scalable app performance.
• Spearhead backend integration of front-end components for optimal functionality and responsiveness.
• Apply robust security strategies and handle sensitive data with care, ensuring protection and compliance.
• Take part in every stage of the development cycle—from brainstorming and coding to testing, deploying, and maintaining products.
• Stay ahead of the curve by exploring and adopting emerging technologies to elevate development efficiency and product innovation

Our requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in backend development, with expertise in:
• Frameworks & Languages: NestJS (including Microservices architecture), ExpressJS, TypeScript, ESLint, TypeORM
• Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, RedisQueue
• CMS: Strapi
• Thorough grasp of the software development lifecycle, with strong command of modern programming tools and methodologies.
• Highly skilled in data modeling, with deep knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL database systems.
• Advanced understanding of software design patterns, microservices architecture, and engineering best practices.
• Proficient in version control systems like Git, and experienced with CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a strong advantage.
• Proven problem-solver with the initiative to explore and adopt emerging technologies independently.
• Clear and effective communicator with a collaborative spirit, thriving in team-oriented environments.
• English fluency is considered a plus
