QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and suites across products.
• Build and maintain test frameworks that improve testing efficiency and coverage for the whole team.
• Develop tools and processes that streamline testing and deployment (CI/CD integration, reporting, flaky-test reduction).
• Apply AI-augmented approaches to automation — AI-assisted test generation, maintenance, and triage — to move faster.
• Report issues clearly and work with developers and product teams to drive them to resolution.
• Evaluate, propose, and implement testing methods and improvements to meet project requirements.
• Take end-to-end ownership of automation quality in your assigned areas.

Requirements

• Proficient in Playwright and TypeScript, with strong programming fundamentals and analytical skills.
• AI competency (required). Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate test creation, maintenance, and debugging. This is a baseline expectation, not a plus.
• Alignment with company core values (required). High autonomy, high ownership, and a bar-raising mindset.
• Proven ability to build and own test frameworks and tooling — work that multiplies the team's output, not just your own.
• Strong advocate of code craftsmanship and quality deliverables.
• Fully autonomous — you identify gaps and act, with no hand-holding.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; communicate well in English.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

Nice to Have

• CI/CD pipeline and DevOps tooling experience.
• Experience introducing AI or automation that measurably improved quality or delivery speed.
• MarTech or high-scale platform experience.
