Mobile App Validation (Test) Engineer

What You’ll Do

· Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile applications on Android and iOS

· Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI/UX testing across multiple devices and operating systems

· Conduct manual testing of new features, bug fixes, and app releases

· Create, maintain, and run automated test suites using relevant frameworks

· Verify application compatibility, responsiveness, and performance under varying network and device conditions

· Identify, document, and track software defects using the organization’s issue-tracking system

· Collaborate with developers to reproduce and diagnose reported issues

· Participate in team ceremonies and contribute to test planning and estimation

· Maintain device lab or testing environment

· Provide test results and quality metrics to stakeholders

· Ensure mobile applications meet accessibility, usability, and security testing.

Requirements

 · 2 – 5 years of experience in mobile application testing (manual and automated)

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

· Experience testing applications built with React Native preferred

· Strong understanding of mobile application testing principles for Android and iOS

· Hands-on experience with test automation tools

· Proficiency with issue-tracking and test management tools

· Understanding of mobile-specific testing challenges (e.g., OS versions, permissions)

· Familiarity with CI/CD integration for automated test execution

· Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
