Mobile App Team Lead

What You’ll Do

· Lead a small team of mobile developers, providing clear technical direction, priorities, and workload management

· Define mobile application architecture, coding standards, and best practices

· Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliverables.

· Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

· Act as the escalation point for technical or delivery issues within the mobile team

· Maintain hands-on involvement in coding, particularly for complex or critical features

· Mentor and coach team members, supporting career development and skill growth

· Conduct regular performance check-ins and provide constructive feedback

· Promote knowledge sharing, code review culture, and continuous improvement practices

· Identify training and professional development opportunities for the team

· Provide progress updates, technical insights, and risk assessments to management and project stakeholders

· Manage deployment processes to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including approvals and release planning

· Stay current with relevant mobile development technologies and practices

Requirements

 · 5+ years of experience in mobile application development, including at least 2 years in a team lead or technical leadership role

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

· Experience leading Agile development teams and delivering projects on schedule

· Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript

· Experience with React Native for mobile development
