Middle Shopify Developer

Responsibilities:

• Build high-quality Shopify storefronts based on custom themes
• Develop advanced frontend features including custom CMS sections, dynamic blocks, and advanced product variant displays
• Build and publish custom apps using Shopify CLI, including embedded apps using ReactJS & Shopify Polaris
• Implement Headless Commerce solutions using Hydrogen, Storefront API (GraphQL), and Next.js
• Apply understanding of Shopify architecture including Online Store 2.0, metafields, metaobjects, functions, and checkout extensibility
• Maintain and enhance existing Shopify stores

Requirements:

Must-have Skills:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Shopify Frontend Development
• Strong skills in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS), JavaScript (ES6+)
• Strong experience with ReactJS, Shopify Polaris, and Storefront API (GraphQL)
• Deep understanding of Shopify ecosystem (Online Store 2.0, custom theme development, metafields & metaobjects, Shopify Functions, Checkout Extensibility)
• Experience customizing Shopify Plus checkout
• Solid knowledge of Shopify Webhooks & Shopify Events
• Experience building reusable components and scalable systems
• Strong debugging & problem-solving skills
• Strong using Git

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Experience with Next.js / Remix for headless storefronts
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI

Soft Skills:

• Good English communication (written & verbal)
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-country teams
• Self-learning, proactive mindset, willingness to research new Shopify features
• Strong ownership and accountability
