Overview: Due to rapid growth, we are seeking a talented, experienced and motivated sales professional to join our APAC team.
The Vietnam Country Manager will be responsible for driving the sales strategy, managing key client relationships, and overseeing the overall sales performance in Vietnam. This senior role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of the local market, excellent sales acumen, and a proven ability to meet and exceed revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing sales teams and developing successful go-to-market strategies and a strong contact book, especially within local brands and senior agency personnel.
Sales is in your blood and closing sales deals is your key motivator. It’s ours too: we are a sales-led organization. As such, your role is crucial to the success of the company and your ability to frequently convert high ticket campaigns, grow existing clients and win new business will be your core KPIs.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Vietnam market to achieve company revenue targets and growth objectives.
- Lead and manage the sales team in Vietnam, providing direction, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in the Vietnam market.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive sales initiatives that expand the company’s market presence.
- Collaborate with the regional and global sales teams to align strategies and leverage resources.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to the VP Key Accounts APAC and senior management.
- Manage the sales budget for Vietnam, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows in Vietnam.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in ad sales, with at least 5 years in a senior sales management role in Vietnam.
- Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets in the Vietnam market.
- Strong understanding of the local market dynamics, business culture, and regulatory environment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies and go-to-market plans.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
- Fluent in Vietnamese and English.
