Chief Operations Officer

Responsibilities

• Own company-wide operations - delivery, process, people, and performance
• Translate executive strategy into clear priorities and execution plans across all teams
• Build and maintain operational systems that scale - SOPs, team structures, delivery frameworks
• Drive cross-functional alignment across teams
• Own company KPIs and hold leadership accountable to outcomes
• Identify and resolve structural gaps in ownership, clarity, or execution before they become problems
• Lead and develop the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) - set expectations, coach, and hold the standard
• Make trade-off decisions when speed and quality are in conflict
• Drive continuous improvement across all operational areas using data and on-the-ground signals
• Represent operational health to the board and shareholders

Requirements

• 10+ years in operations or general management, with at least 3 years at a senior leadership level
• Proven track record of scaling multi-function teams in a fast-moving environment
• Has owned execution and outcomes, not just strategy or advisory roles
• Able to zoom in and out - from strategic decisions to operational details when needed
• Strong people leader - can develop, coach, and hold leaders accountable
• Clear, direct communicator who can align executives, managers, and ICs
