Backend Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Implementation and maintenance of crypto exchange connectors using Golang (examples will be provided)
• Analyse production issues and implement improvements in short time
• Understand exchange specific implementation details and requirements by using publicly available documentation
• Collaborating with exchange support teams for troubleshooting
• Collaborating with the tech team to gather requirements and timelines that meet both business and engineering needs.
• Implement observability metrics to proactively identify anomalies and performance bottlenecks, ensuring uninterrupted trading operations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or related field of studies
• At least 2-3 years+ relevant experience
• Ideally prior experience with trading systems, infrastructure, algorithms, and connectivity either in Crypto related companies or traditional financial institutions
• Strong Golang experience especially around HTTP and WebSocket communication, channels, Go routines, synchronisation
• To be able to work independently without much supervision
• Ability to work in high pressure environments to meet deadlines.
