Job description

As a Media Buyer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our clients' advertising strategies and ensuring their messages reach the right audience at the right time. You will be responsible for negotiating and purchasing advertising space across various media channels, including but not limited to Facebook and Google.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Media Planning: Design media plans that align with the client's marketing objectives and budgets.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging media opportunities to provide strategic recommendations to clients.
  • Budget Management: Manage and allocate clients' advertising budgets efficiently, ensuring campaigns are cost-effective and meet performance benchmarks.
  • Campaign Execution: Coordinate the implementation of media campaigns, including ad placements, creative assets, and tracking mechanisms.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimisation to meet or exceed client KPIs.
  • Client Communication: Maintain strong relationships with clients, informing them about campaign progress and presenting reports on campaign effectiveness.
  • Creative Creation: Create creative to continue to test the ad angle to achieve the best winning ads angle against KPI. 
  • Creative Collaboration: Collaborate with the innovative team to ensure that ad creative aligns with the media strategy and resonates with the target audience.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and guidelines while executing media campaigns.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
  • Proven experience in media buying, preferably within an advertising agency.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in media buying software and tools.
  • Familiarity with media planning and advertising metrics.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
